Scholarships and Internships

Through the generous support of donors, the Blackburn Institute provides funding to select students toward the cost of academic expenses and government internships.

Goggins Scholarship

This Goggins Scholarship awards $2,500 annually to one Blackburn student who is participating in a federal government internship in Washington, D.C.

Government Internship Stipend

Blackburn students can apply for a stipend up to $1,000 for internships with elected or appointed officials in Alabama or D.C.

Siegal Scholarship

This Siegal Scholarship awards $2,750 annually to one Blackburn student who has demonstrated an interest in and a concern for the promotion of cultural understanding while maintaining an active participation in the Blackburn Institute.
