The Student Vice-Chairperson:
- Presides over meetings of Students in the absence of the Chairperson.
- Together with the Chairperson, organizes informal gatherings that promote dialogue and community among Students.

Marilyn Swint is a junior from Athens, Alabama pursuing a degree in Marketing. On campus, she serves as the president of Alpha Chi Omega, a member of the Student Government Association’s Lobby Board, and a member of UA Vote Everywhere.
In these roles, she is deeply committed to advocating for students and fostering positive change within her community. Marilyn’s passion for travel has taken her across the globe, with summers spent in South Africa, England, Italy, and France. In her free time, you can find her spending time with friends, leading book club, or going on a long walk around the quad.
