John Brinkerhoff is an attorney with the firm Jones Day, where he specializes in complex appeals. He represents the world’s leading technology, retail, and life sciences corporations. Prior to joining Jones Day, John worked for the federal Judiciary, including serving as a law clerk to Justice Samuel A. Alito of the United States Supreme Court and Chief Judge William H. Pryor Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. A native of Leeds, Alabama, John graduated from the University of Alabama in 2014 (B.A., Geology and Political Science; B.A.C., Communication Studies). He subsequently obtained a Juris Doctorate degree from Yale Law School. Between college and law school, John served as a regional coordinator with AmeriCorps, where he organized community service initiatives across Alabama.
