Bennett McGehee is a Vice President at PNC Bank in Birmingham, serving as a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager for companies across North and Central Alabama. After graduating from The University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Business in 2020 with a B.S. in Finance and Economics, Bennett joined PNC’s Corporate Banking Development Program in Atlanta. In that role, Bennett underwrote credits throughout the Southeast and supported Healthcare Banking and Southeast Corporate Banking relationship managers.
After graduating from the development program in 2023, Bennett joined the Alabama Corporate Banking team as an Associate Relationship Manager, supporting middle market and large corporate relationships across Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, and Louisiana, with more than $3B in total credit commitments. In January 2026, Bennett was promoted to his current role, working directly with emerging middle market companies and non-profits to deliver advisory-based solutions for their full range of banking needs.
A native of Mobile, Bennett currently lives in Vestavia Hills with his wife, Kate, who is also a Blackburn Fellow. Together, they serve in the children and youth ministries at Mountain Brook Community Church and are members of Birmingham Rotaract, where Bennett served as a Board Fellow for Red Mountain Park. Bennett was part of the Blackburn Institute’s new student class in 2017 and was a member of the 7th class of the Alabama Leadership Initiative in 2025. Bennett is passionate about economic development in Alabama as well as recruiting early career talent to our state.
