Margaret Ann Browning is a junior from Olive Branch, Mississippi. She is pursuing a degree in History with a minor in Psychology.

Margaret Ann is currently interning with Conservation Alabama, a statewide, nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to helping Alabamians use their political power to protect natural resources. This summer, she will be one of six UA students participating in the Walker Area Community Foundation internship, where she will work directly with a nonprofit in Jasper, AL. Her passion for Southern history has led her to conduct research on campus under Dr. John Giggie in the course, Alabama Memory. She is also involved with the Honors College and her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta. Outside of school, she enjoys long walks by the river, trying new coffee shops, antiquing and spending quality time with friends.
